Introducing Miss Crystal-Starr the enchanting embodiment of indie rock, easy listening, country, folk, and diva styles. With a guitar in hand and lyrics in her heart, Crystal-Starr weaves a musical tapestry that resonates with the essence of her upbringing and the eclectic inspirations she's encountered.

Today Crystal-Starr releases her second single for the year, Standing Still.

Recorded at Swamp Shack Studio in the Taranaki with accompaniment from beautiful local talent including Jack Moser on keys, Chris Lewis on Mandolin and Richard Grant on bass, Standing Still was married together by Chris Foreman.

Standing Still is a love song about 'the one'. In the style of indie rock, soft rock and blues with an almost classical vocal melody, this song depicts the journey to love through trial and error sometimes. The full sound in this track is a direct nod to the fullness within your heart when engulfed in feelings of love. 

Crystal-Starr and her band The Offering will be hosting an epic double single release party called A Timeless Offering, to be held at the Cafe Green Door here in New Plymouth on the release date - 18 May 2024. The show kicks off at 6:30pm.

She will be joined by a beautiful local duo called Timeless Therapy, who are also releasing a new song.

Presale tickets are available for $20, or it's $25 on the door on the night.

Crystal-Starr also has another single planned for August and an album release on the way.
