Ruptus Jack - Ruptus Jack Newsletter Interview

19 Jun 2006 // An interview by Shade
Who are your favourite NZ bands and artists?

I quite like some of those band NZ class A drugs. Some of them are sweet tho, so I don't know why they band them in the first place, anyways, fav Artists.........Shihad, The Datsuns, Shapeshifter, HLAH, Concord Dawn.

What is your favourite NZ venue?

Showgirls

What is the best thing about being in Ruptus Jack?

5 best mates playing wicked music and touring around the country. Meeting awesome new friends and seeing places you would never see unless you were in our band.

What is the best live gig you have ever been to?

Opeth, Audioslave, Pantera, Muse, Showgirls

Where do you see yourselves in 5 years?

If I wanted to see myself in five years, I'd probably give me a call, see if I was keen to meet up for lunch, say 1 ish, go to a time travel bar, kind of like them oxygen bars they got now, and yeah, meet there.

How do you keep in contact with your fans?

Sometimes I use a stick to prod at the different settings, my favorite being 3 as it is the fastest.

What rumour would you like to start about yourselves?

We are all members of a death metal project called "The Camel Toes of Death" - Once we played a gig where we all got erections........There were no survivers.

What advice would you like to give to other aspiring musicians?

Tour.
