Jackpoint - jackpoint - a powerful live act
30 Sep 2005 // A review by kiwisteff
jackpoint has been gigging on the Auckland scene mainly for almost two years. Strong and powerful, but with a great melody and style, jackpoint offers a great show everytime they play live.
It may be at the Kings Arms, Dogs Bollix, the Ambassador, Eden's bar or Masonic..., they always give themselves 100% with no fuss, just playing for the love of the music.
Last gig on last wednesday (28th of September) was again a great performance for jackpoint. The Dogs Bollix is always allowing them to show the depth and extent of their musical abilities and they filled the bar with energy and great music. This is well thanks to Angel who always has made the guys sound awesome.
Their best gig to date must be their EP release party last April. It was a great success... huge turn-up and two other great support bands for a good night.
Don't miss out Jackpoint live. This is the best way to discover their music. THEY ARE A LIVE ACT. 3-piece and a lot of noise.
