Brain Bell Jangler is a very likeable
track full of ripping harmonic guitar strains that heave along to a rock steady
rhythm providing a superb foundation for the very catchy vocal tones from lead
singer Brendan McCarthy.
Apollo SteamTrain are a traditional 3-piece rock Guitar/Bass/Drum ensemble that have produced a
killer track with such a crisp guitar sound that bursts with melodic sparkles
that combine beautifully with the very Beatle-esque vocal performance. The
singing zips along and is joined by flawless multiple harmonies that raise the pre-chorus
and chorus vibe impeccably. The song has a very positive and upbeat feel, and
the glorious guitar solo is a perfect burst of guitar paradise.
The feel-good
vibe is sustained through the whole song and it really does makes you feel good.
There is no doubt Brain Bell Jangler would be a popular high-octane song performed live, but they have captured it brilliantly
and although the recording is quite clean and crisp it retains enough grit and
raw feel to come across as an energetic and cheerful rock classic.
