MahJong
I say I keep foolish things concealed.
Brave words through clenched teeth... the foolish things burn far beneath.
Flowers wilt on fire hearth in a milk bottle jar.
Waterless, they hang their heads...
I have kept them though they are dead.
Autumn came, it brought the flies - they move so slow to where they hide...
This house is old, it's in my mind,
But I must go before it's time here comes.
Golden dust falls over this wooden floor.
It brightens me for a while as I pack away my mahjong tiles.
Eyes tight, I dream of autumn, winter, spring...
And summer, so far behind!
I let it's fire fill my mind...
The city calls - it knows my heart.
As black as night, with neon stars.
They glow around my deep desires.
But I must go before my time here comes.
For my time here comes.
