Wash - NineFiveZeroFive Posted: Tue Feb 22, 2005 6:37 pm WASH, Massive Artists and Cruel Records are pleased to announce the release of WASH’s new album 'NineFiveZeroFive'. 'NineFiveZeroFive' will be available at New Zealand music retailers from Monday 21 February. This highly anticipated WASH release features 13 new songs and eight bonus tracks. It includes the singles 'Walk Away', 'Feel The Sun', 'Survive', 'Flow', 'Shape', 'Who Am I' and 'Sunbleed'. “We are really happy with NineFiveZeroFive,” says lead singer Ivan Beets. “It’s been a lot of hard work over a long period of time, but we’re very proud of the outcome. We appreciate the patience and support of our fans during the making of ninefivezerofive. You won’t be disappointed … the wait has all been worth it.” After lengthy negotiations with their American record company Hydrogen, WASH has obtained permission to release 'NineFiveZeroFive' in New Zealand via local label Cruel Records. A pre-release version of 'NineFiveZeroFive' recently sold out at the Parachute 05 festival held at Mystery Creek in January. For the past ten years Auckland-based WASH has been developing their own distinctive sound incorporating a good chunk of hard rock, a little rapcore, a bit of punk, some fat analogue synth, a dash of new wave and a few hardcore tricks. In partnership with Massive Artists producer Darren Poole (The Have, Colliding Traits) WASH has become one of New Zealand’s most passionate, convicted and hard-hitting rock acts … as is evident on the recording 'NineFiveZeroFive'. WASH’s latest radio single 'Like The First Time? (Trapped)' is currently being released to radio, with music video to follow in early March. WASH is also conducting a nationwide 'NineFiveZeroFive' tour commencing in Christchurch Friday 18 February and culminating in Auckland late April.
