When The Sun Comes
When the sun comes out to play
All the storm clouds will run and hide away
You know I’d hate to speak to soon
But this is the way it should stay
I keep waiting for the clouds to return
And maybe bring a little rain
Everybody likes to grow their hair long
Every once in a while
Or something like that
It’s a fact
When the sun comes out to play
You just don’t want to waste another day
Making imprints in the sand
painting pictures with your feet and not your hands
I look up and see the clouds on the return
It looks like they’re bringing rain
But they never seem to get close enough
to make you feel cold
And I will break a simple smile
and wash away yesterday's tears
With the new day’s dawn
While you're staring at the floors
And climbing all the walls
There’s a cool wind blowing outside
Your still living in a room
You’ve got to come out soon
Cos there’s a cool wind blowing outside
I’m still waiting for the clouds to return
And maybe bring a little rain
Everybody likes to grow their hair long
or something like that
You're still staring at the floors
And climbing all the walls
When there’s a cool wind blowing outside
You're still living in a room
You’ve got to come out soon
Cos there’s a cool wind blowing outside
