Mixture

Bio

It all started with Rich out in the garage with his 4-track. Taking a break from his drumming duties in Shaft and The Rock and Roll Machine - writing, recording, playing guitar, bass, drums and singing.

One of the resulting tracks Someday made its way onto the 2003 Powertool Records compilation Here Comes The Bulletholes. A looming 'Bulletholes' launch party saw the mustering of other humans to play the instruments he didn't have enough hands for. Jacqui on bass, Bruce on drums and Cameron on guitar. Lots of gigs followed. Cameron left to form his own band The Shallows and Mixture carried on as a 3 piece.

2005 saw the release of their 7 song EP Picture Of You. Jacqui got pregnant and Brent joined the band playing guitar then bass and then when Bruce left to travel overseas, the drums. But now Brent has gone overseas as well, and Jacqui's looking after the baby. So it's just Rich again, out in the garage with his pro-tools, writing, recording ...
