Monah

Bio

Monah play music like they're a lot older than they actually are. It's surprising when young people show an understanding of what good music is - something which comes close to being able to communicate the incommunicable. Monah has translated the darkest parts of night, the sadness of things, and all the hope in the world into heavily layered and dynamic music. Somehow.

With thoughtful production and the time and patience creating good music requires, Monah have written and recorded music that crushes you while it tends to your wounds. Songs that forces you to move, but hold you still. This is cinematic music, but only in the sense that it reflects and magnifies the intensity of life in the same way film does.

Perhaps it's that the members of Monah have played in a diverse collection of bands that they're able to create such deliberate and essential music. The members of Monah have also played in Brick vs Face, Die Alone, Alaska, and Bright Lights, to name a few.
