muzic | What are some of your highlights from the tour |
Fourth Member | Jon: Driving through Hamilton trying to find Altitude bar (venue for Hamilton gig) completely unaware of where it was, parked up to ask someone where it was and it was right there. Mike: The 2am pie at BP in Ngarawahia. I think that it was bacon and beef. Mmmmm pies are all good at 2am. Scott: Toby from Mozelee and Grant from Epitome's duet, no it was more of a battle. Man that was awesome. Jon: One of the low points was at some of the gigs some under agers getting turned away. [Most of the gigs were at bars] |
muzic | What can you never gig without? |
Fourth Member | Jon: A sock on my arm. Mike: Deodorant. Oh and my wedding ring. Scott: My Earplugs |
muzic | Where do you see yourselves in say five years? |
Fourth Member | Hopefully touring full time with 2 albums and 8 singles released. |
muzic | If you had one minute left to live, what would you do. |
Fourth Member | Mike: Pray Jon: Repent from all the bad things I've done. Scott: ? Ooh punch Jon in the face! Ha-ha he couldn't do anything after that. |
4th Member is a band with incredible talent that I'm sure will go far. I would not recommend missing this band play live. They are Jon [vocals/bass], Scott [drums] and Mike [guitar].
4th Member would like to that Globe, Jansen, and David Cross from Inertia.
Fourth Member are the classic story of a small town band that took their big rock sound to the big city.
Mike, John and Scott have been living in each others back pockets for over 18 years. With such a strong friendship, it made sense to form a rock band.
With in the space of just over a year, Fourth Member have taken there e-mail fanbase to 750, produced and recorded a 3 track CD, released a self funded music video which featured on 2 Music TV channels, got a write up in NZ’s premier music mag Rip It Up, organized their own North Island tour of NZ and received an invite to tour the world with a triple platinum selling NZ artist! Having seen all this good work, companies like Globe, Dirty Dog Eyewear and Jansen have sponsored Fourth Member to capitalize on their rising success and attention. During this time Fourth Member also released their first single 'Sunsets' to radio and TV, the single went to Number 1 on a prominent NZ music website….and the story continues on.
