08 Jun 2008 // An interview by Shade
Thanks to Dave for these answers:
What is the best gig/event you have ever performed at, and why?
In recent times, last summer tour in fact we played this huge gig down in Hawea. We played just as the sun was setting behind this massive mountains in front of the stage. 4000 people were having a great time and I just felt super lucky to be doing what we do in such a beautiful place...a little hippy I know but true.
What is your favourite NZ venue?
I do have a soft spot for the Power Station...I think it's called Bar Retro now. It was the first venue Elemeno P played at so it will always be special.
What can we expect to see from Elemeno P over the next year?
A new record, a nationwide tour, a few more singles
What other NZ musicians or bands would you like to see more of, and why?
The Mint Chicks because they as so innovative with their songs whilst still being little pop gems.
If you could, what rumour would you start about yourselves?
That I've voluntarily checked myself into a b-side celebrity rehab clinic.
What advice would you like to give to other aspiring musicians?
Take the money...
