MNZ Interview: The AUX Return 011: Bradley Hanan Carter
MNZ Interview: The AUX Return 011: Bradley Hanan Carter
14 May 2024 // An interview by Nicholas Clark
The AUX Return looked back at history with Bradley Hanan Carter, through his musical career in the early 2000's with Steriogram, then into Pistol Youth, his rock outfit NO and his break from music.
Recently, Bradley has released a song, Walking in the Rain with a new project called Faux Prix. Not only that, but Bradley has also been involved in supergroup 5 Billion in Diamonds which has members Butch Vig, James Grillo, Andy
Jenks, Helen White and Ebbot Lundberg. The group asked him to join in on a session which helped form the basis of another recently released song, Waiting To Land. Bradley is now looking forward to the bright future of a new project and feels
like, in his own words, "he’s just getting started".
We discussed band dynamics, the difficulty of touring and writing with others versus the pros and cons of solo projects, and how leaving the music industry for a few years gave him a fresh perspective and a renewed gratitude for his opportunities.
