Goodnight Nurse
What a way to spend Friday the 13, doors open at 9 but first band on at 10.20.
The Rabble
The Rabble open the night with an explosive burst of energy with a hit of total punk rock and setting the scene for the night singing along. They had a strong following on tour with them all supporting some outstanding hair. The crowd didn't take long to get fired up.
Streetwise Scarlet
Unfortunately Streetwise Scarlet was plagued with technical faults as power faults right from the first song, three songs later before they go through without a fault. The lads tried to keep the songs going through the crowd singing on with
'Let's Go' (as seen on C4 advert) but after the delays it was hard to recover. There first release will be hopefully out this August.
Goodnight Nurse
Goodnight finally hit the stage and performed without fault. Songs from older albums as well as from the new Album
'Keep Me On Your Side'. The crowd need no help with any lyrics as they sang along to
'The Night',
'I Need This' and
'Death Goes To The Disco'. A strong crowd request for the cover of
'Milkshake' excited the crowd more than a weight watchers trip to the cake factory.
Finishing the night was lead singer Joel Little's tribute to his grandfather Archie with
'Our Song'.
