Eqwanox - All Roads Lead From Here Album Review
09 Dec 2008 // A review by JohnS
I must admit, I had heard of Eqwanox before having the opportunity to listen to there CD. Myspace is a wonderful tool for bands to promote their music to the world and Eqwanox have taken full advantage of this.
Kicking off the album with
Killing Time, setting the scene of the album with an explosion of rock that New Zealanders really enjoy. With having supported international acts like Billy Corgan and Seether they are well on the way to becoming a household name. Somehow the album found it’s way into the MP3 player of the toughest music critic I have ever known, my wife.
What makes this music really stand out is the fact that they all sound like they are having a lot of fun and enjoying the recording experience. You can really hear this in
21st Story, The last track on the album. The band strings together tight gripping melodies and strong vocals/backing vocals and produced one outrageously great album. These boys will go far.
