As the crowd disappeared during intermission I could hear everybody talking about Pariah's new line-up, wondering if they will be as good as they were before... and true to form the boys pulled out all the stops, leaving the doubters in their wake.
With the very first riff the crowd came rushing in and created a circle pit to the first song they played, "Sinking Earth Ship", and it only got better from there.
These boys know how they want to sound, and they know how to make it loud without affecting their tone, and when you’ve got that nailed and you have two guitarists trading solos it’s enough to melts faces, and melt faces they did!
It's not often you see a band who moshes almost as hard and as often as the fans in the pit, but Pariah come to the table with a performance as hardcore as their sound, and the crowd loved every minute of it leaving no doubt that this new line-up may be their best yet..
Created early 2007, Pariah set about playing covers from bands such as Rage Against The Machine and Lamb Of God, Then slowly started to write some of their own original material.
Now defined and with a direction for their own sound, they proceed to produce
a steady flow of originals - and with each piece different and succeeding the next,
it is difficult to define their heavy sound into a specific genre.
