Beachware are from
Auckland and full of fun with their electric surf pop.
Their bubble gum sound
is typically Kiwi and has that real beach vibe blended with 80’s synth overtones. Twin
Coast Disc Drive is the band’s first EP, and if you’re a fan of amalgamated
happy sounds, this will be right up your alley.
The five track EP has
an honest feel to it, and although short, clocking in at under twenty minutes
in total, it is fitting for the band’s sound. An easy middle ground for
listeners.
Executed well, there
is no doubt the band has a genuine love for creating simple, happy music, that
would not be out of place at any indie/pop music festival, however, if you are
hoping for a heavier sound from these guys, then you’re looking in the wrong
place.
These guys are a
nugget of positivity in our Kiwi pop music scene, and if you’re craving new tunes
over summer, check them out, they could be just what you’re looking for.

Beachware is a Kiwi alt pop group with influences across the board. Featuring 80's inspired keyboards, catchy baselines, and Rob's unmistakably kiwi vocals, Beachware deliver a guitar driven, dance fueled powerpop show.
