A grandiose tune full of drama, it is a beautifully crafted love song with striking melody. Yet another fine example of her song writing talent. It is easy to hear why Marina Bloom has recently been selected as a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only song writing completion 2019 for her song Flying.
Monumental highs and dramatic lows are the theme to this ballad. Marina’s song writing partner Michael Davis points out “there are not many scenes more epic than lions swiping pews and pulpit aside to ferociously attack one another”.
Marina herself describes this release as “significant and heavy, dark but irresistibly hopeful”.
A creative and visually stunning music video has also just been released for this haunting and beautiful song, complementing it perfectly with the mystical fairy-tale theme. Laden with emotion and drama.
Lions Fighting In A Church is a breath taking release. I personally fell in love with everything about it. A big ballad of epic proportions, I recommend having a listen. Available to stream on Spotify and Major music sites.
