Justin Sane - Single/Video Review: It’s Not Over with Huz

14 May 2020 // A review by Corinne Rutherford

NZ electronic dance duo from Auckland, Justin Sane & Huz have recently released their brand new single It’s Not Over accompanied by a high energy bittersweet music video which is like an accelerated timeline of C-19 NZ Lockdown 2020.

Justin Sane has been around for a few years, a DJ from the UK; he immigrated to New Zealand in 2001 and exploded into the public eye in 2003 by being identified as one of the hottest young properties within the NZ hardhouse scene. Fast forward a few years and DJ/Producer Justin, met up with Songwriter/Vocalist Huz (from the Banditz) backstage at a party, and eventually formed the successful duo Totes!.

In the clutches of a global epidemic, many musicians have expressed themselves through their music. It’s Not Over, is a high energy electronic dance track full of hope and joy but portraying a strong message. Taking a glimpse at the loneliness within some bubbles but emerging out the other side “It’s not over; It’s time to live again”. Spreading good vibes globally.

This track has a nice clean beat with a tight polished sound, targeted at the wider International audience as well as close to home. This song and video shows a united front across the planet, with everyone in the same boat.

So as the bubble bursts in level two, this upbeat song comes in time to project positive energy out into the world. Just when we need them the most.

Rating: ( 5 / 5 )
