laura. - Single/Video Review: Safety in Numbers (Graeme Woller Remix)

08 Nov 2022 // A review by Corinne Rutherford
Taranaki songwriter Laura Griffiths is releasing a banging dance remix of her hugely popular track Safety In Numbers. This version produced by Graeme Woller, transforms a “fun indie pop” tune into a dance banger.

Her pure vocals and solid lyrics combined with some tight mixing has resulted in a winner that is guaranteed to get you moving.

Worthy of a mention is the vivid psychedelic music video, which really brings this track to life. Visually stimulating this is a perfect background to a well-crafted remix. There is a modern and youthful vibe but with a 90's feel.

Safety In Numbers has delivered not once but twice in two very different formats. Laura’s sound has been compared to the likes of Brooke Fraser, she has the refined vocals and sincere lyrics which can tug at your heart strings.

This track is fresh and vibrant with pop friendly hooks. By turning up the bass up a notch, a fun indie pop tune has been transformed into an energetic dance track which can cross platforms from radio to clubs.

Utterly infectious this is feel good music all the way.

Rating: ( 5 / 5 )
