Geoff Ong, a pop artist from Aotearoa has just released a new sparkly upbeat track Waiting On What To Say. Written during a prolonged bout of social anxiety, Ong uses his songwriting as a tool to work through these feelings delivering a fresh upbeat electronic pop track with a message.

Written during a prolonged bout of social anxiety, Ong uses his songwriting as a tool to work through these feelings delivering a fresh upbeat electronic pop track with a message.As with previous tracks, Waiting On What To Say showcases his ability to take the listener on a journey delivering heartfelt lyrics accompanied via a sweet sounding electronic soundscape.
Gaining a bit of a following through his music, Geoff Ong gets consistent radio airplay across NZ commercial hit music stations.
Ong produces music which is relatable and unpretentious, self-proclaimed “pop star for dorks” or as Radio New Zealand wrote providing “mainstream for, misfits”.
Waiting On What To Say is an upbeat track, cheerfully constructed to deliver a poignant message. Written, mixed and mastered by Geoff, with the support of Fred Calzada and Kris 'Zion' Ortega from Los Angeles based independent label Yo! Records.

About Geoff Ong
Geoff’s 2018 single, Fingerprints, a shimmering slice of soulful indie pop, was recorded in his bedroom in Kingsland, with production, mixing and mastering by Phil Levine of the illustrious Igloo Music Studios in Los Angeles, who won two Grammy Awards for their work on 2016’s box office hit, La La Land.
Fingerprints made an immediate impact, peaking at #3 on the Hot NZ Singles Chart and #25 on the overall Hot Singles Top 40 Chart. It was also featured on ZM, The Edge, The Edge TV, and Radio New Zealand.
