Pot Luck

Bio

Pot Luck is a duo that perform Jazz, Theatre, Folk and Comic songs. They present shows suitable for intimate theatres, house concerts, performance cafes and wine festivals, and as segments of shows that feature poetry, comedy and other art forms.

Brandon is a singer and actor. While in London, she was prominent in women's theatre, was a member of the Sisterhood of Spit, and did a season at Ronnie Scott's as a support act for Nina Simone. She has performed with leading New Zealand figures in music theatre and, in Christchurch, was a member of Les Toots and Spats.

Gilbert Haisman is a writer and pianist. Beginning as a pit musician with student revues (Roger Hall, Dave Smith and others), he has led Jazz groups, appeared solo in poetry evenings, produced many school and professional shows, and is one of the best silent movie pianists in Paekakariki. His stories, poems and reviews have been published in Landfall, Takahe, Other Voices, Leaves, School Journals, The Dominion Post and other periodicals.

Pot Luck is now known as Still Crazy.
