SINGLE RELEASE PARTY Posted: Tue Jun 14, 2005 12:45 pm Following the success of their first single "Wait Your Turn" released to radio in Sept 2004, The Four piece hard rock act from Auckland known as Epitome have let loose with a more powerful, aggressive, and even catchier second single titled "Tighten The Noose". Recorded at York St with master engineer Dave Rhodes behind the mixing desk, lead singer Grant Marshall's gutsy voice screams out over the top of two heavy guitars, a big drum sound, and a wicked bass track which drives the entire single. In the style of all good hard rock bands, Epitome have excluded any additions of any samples in this single. This single will be released in tradiotional Epitome style on the 8th of July downstairs at The Masonic Tavern in Devonport (on Aucklands North Shore) with a big release party - in which Epitome invite YOU, and all of your friends/colleagues/relatives to enjoy a night of good solid New Zealand Rock ! Epitome's new music video, produced by Brendon Lodge @ Madness Productions will also be released to TV at the same time. Be sure to keep your eye open for this new track from Epitome. Thanks guys, Grunter, Wazz, Sam, and Carl. EPITOME For all additional info, please take time to visit www.epitomeband.com. Big thanks to our sponsors, Coastlines surfwear, Audiopro, and Jansen who all have the best range of gear on the market ! |

Thankyou to Suzi & Ian at XSTV = ) they are a wicked bunch. Ok .. now for another biggie .. News from www.loudmouth.co.nz (brought to you by V, and jigsaw music) The first JigSaw Music Leg Up gig is happening at Unitech on April 7 with Epitome, Sonic, The Sushi, Ziko and Niall Martin. Epitome. Powerful, Catchy, Raw, Loud, and Rock. These are a few words that have been used to describe Epitome's diversely unique sound. Their first single 'Wait Your Turn' has been playlisted on The Rock, C4, and Juice. They're back into the studio soon to record their second single 'Tighten The Noose'. Sonic are a Auckland based pop/rock band heralded as one of New Zealand's biggest potential groups. Their music is varied with tunes like 'Little Darling' that gently pulse along and the single 'Elevator' to change direction and get the venue jumping. The new EP 'Blonde' is out now. The Sushi, who formed in 2000, are an energetic, catchy pop/punk band looking to make big waves in 2005 and ready to take the music to as many people as humanly possible.determined dedicated and raring to be let out of the starting blocks at full speed. Ziko are a 4 piece act, exploring the ground between groove based rock and electronica. Ziko have been playing gigs all over Auckland over the last year or so, including the Kings Arms, the Dogs Bollix and the Ambassador. Niall Martin plays original songs with his acoustic guitar for company. He arrived in New Zealand in 2003 from Dublin. While in Ireland he recorded some demo tracks and played support several times for Paddy Casey. He's played several open mic nights around Auckland. So remember - Thurs April 7th, @ Auckland's Unitec. We are back in NZ's Premier recording studio "York St" on easter weekend laying down the new drum track for our next single. We will be working with Dave Rhodes again on this to get our second single happening just for you ! Churr = ) catch ya later. Epitome munters. www.epitomeband.com |
