SIXDAYWAR WIN NZ BATTLE OF THE BANDS!!!!! Posted: Sun Sep 28, 2003 2:31 am It all started at about 8.30pm when two buses from the Masonic Tavern in Devonport arrived, filled with screaming fans! From the moment they walked in, "SIX DAY WAR! SIX DAY WAR! SIX DAY WAR!" The crowd was now filled with dozens of fans all wearing sixdaywar t-shirts! The chanting continued between every band right up till they played. Sixdaywar were one of many metal bands who performed on the night. Although the standard was very high from all the bands, I would say sixdaywar stood out the most. I'm not saying this just because of their crowd, however, the crowd reaction was a good reaction to their musical style. The band was heavy, with great tempo changes and... the band could groove! |
