Hellborne formed in August 2002 from other local bands including Turbostill, Sense_, 7.62 Short and The Hendersons.
They have been gigging around the North Island since November 2002 having played in Palmerston North, Wellington, Napier, New Plymouth, Gisborne and Auckland.
They released a self-financed CD Raping of Society in July 2003 with seven original tracks and three remixes: two by Sense_ and one by Faker.
Their second album Fuck You was released in July 2005, and contains seven original Thrash n' Roll tracks and two live tracks recorded at Swampfest 2005.
Hellborne played their final gig on Friday 3 September, 2010 in Palmerston North.

Hellborne album out July 15 Posted: Fri Jul 8, 2005 11:49 am Palmy metallers Hellborne have completed production of their second full-length album, succinctly entitled Fuck You. The album is being released on $lave Recordings at a release show at Guv'nors Tavern in Palmerston North on July 15th with Wrath and Wall of Silents and is described by the band as "thrash 'n' roll".
