Silent Night

In a book from long ago
Theres the story of a child
Born
In the village bethlehem
In a manger there he lay
On a bed of hay
But
No sound did he make
Wise men came to kneel and praise his name
I know I would love to do the same
It was a silent night
It was a holy night
All around the land was still and calm
He was a gentle child
He was a quiet child
Born so many years ago
The cattle it did low
The baby awoke
But
No crying did he make
The angels in the sky
Looked down where he lay
And
They began to sing his name
Shepereds left their sheep to see his face
I know I would love to do the same
It was a silent night
It was a holy night
All around the land was still and calm
He was a gentle child
He was a quiet child
Born so many years ago
It was a silent night
It was a holy night
All around the land was still and calm
He was a gentle child
He was a quiet child
Born so many years ago
