  • At Taks

Matt had told us about this young keyboard player with serious chops, when he finally sorted the bridge we laid this down with Black Gold and Bridal. Love, this track was a "hang on for the ride" type tune.

  • Make It Go Round

This number is a real live favourite, recording it was less so, I think we got there in the end. Michael Russell's first studio excursion with us, he's on Flugelhorn.

  • Not Of Stone

Older, acoustic number from Tim. Valve amp brings out the best of the slide guitar and vindicates Tony's belief in the track from the start.

Xmas Eve is Dave's last Equus Gig
Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 11:30 am
All good things must come to an end, and Dave Anderson finishes his Equus spell (sentence?) at Legends Bar on the 24th December.

Tickets still available for the show, Equus supporting the Feelers, so get along and farewell the Funkiest Rhythm Guitarist since Catfish Collins.

8PM start, early I know, but look at our age...

Horns at Jetset
Posted: Sun Nov 14, 2004 9:26 pm
Contrary to some advertising, Ben and Michael, the Equus horn section, will be performing at the Jetset on 19/11.
Equus should be on roughly 12.15-12.30.
Cover charge is $3, bloody cheap for 4 bands...
