After their showstopping performances in H-TOWN - Chong Nee, FAM1ST, CROOKS INTERNATIONAL, 275, DJ PETER JAMES made their way to the East coast town of Whakatane for there 1st performance in the eastern province.

To a local crowd of TRUE R N B fans - the CROOKS performed in full force - and had an overwhelming responce

Hosted at the Comms bar / Hotel - ( Commercial Bar / Hotel ) the owner said that they very rarely get to have high class live acts through the town - and is diffenatly keen on getting everyone back again.

With support from FAM1ST / 275 / DJ PETER JAMES and a local Gisborne group ZERO T - the crowd were amazed at the talent that they were showcased.

To a capacity crowd in H-TOWNS Charmers bar the home of R N B / HIPHOP in Hamilton city, the C.I. FAMILIA - ( along with other support acts, Lemz, Jigsaw, Usouljah ) - performed in full force showcasing all upcoming NZ Artists.

Supporting Chong Nee on his nationwide NZ tour, these R N B artists wasted no time blazing the stage one after the other in what can only be described as the " Best NZ R N B / Hiphop tour in a loong time "

The long wait is over, thanks to HANDMADE RECORDS, HALFPAST STREET WEAR, MAI FM, TAHU FM and KOG STUDIOS the long awaited New Zealand tour of Chong Nee is now in place.

Touching base in all the main centres of New Zealand during July and August, Chong Nee will be bringing a huge arsenal of HIPHOP / R N B acts set to take the New Zealand audiences by storm.

CROOKS INTERNATIONAL / LEMZ / JIGSAW / FLOWZ are just a few of the confirmed support acts due to share the stage throughout New Zealand.

Starting in Auckland on July 5th 2006 at Ponsonby's Safari Lounge and ending in Dunedin - this tour is set to be one of the best New Zealand will have this year.

To a capacity crowd at the Safari Lounge 116 Ponsonby Rd, numbers had turned out in full force to support the album launch of NZ own Chong Nee - supporting this amazing soul man of R N B were CROOKS INTERNATIONAL - FLOWZ ( from Wellington crew FOOTSOILDERS ) JIGSAW ( FAM1ST and LEMUEL ( FAM1ST )

The CROOKS gave a powerful performance showing new audiences their abilities by not only performing all of their own original material - (including upcoming single release entitled " Diamond Ring " ) but they also busted out an Acapella track right at the start of the set -

" Hardly anyone does that anymore " said Ron Mak producer of CROOKS INTERNATIONAL " We wanted to show people that we can not only perform our own music but that we can actually sing LIVE as well - what better way to do that, then to drop an acapella right off the jump "

CROOKS INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT DIABETES FOUNDATION

Braving the elements this weekend CROOKS INTERNATIONAL ventured to Hayman Park in Manukau City.

The cause was for the Diabetes Foundation raising awareness of how this illness is most common within all Pakeha / Polynesian cultures and what you can do to help eleviate this terrible illness effectiving your family and friends.

In assoication with the Manukau City Council, Hayman park was the venue in which all supporters ventured on a HE KOI around the park, finally ending up in the middle of the park to be provided with healthy drinks refreshments and of course entertainment..

What started as a terrible morning, turned out to be a stunning sunny day enjoyed by all including CROOKS INTERNATIONAL, who performed to the large crowd that attended the HE KOI..

" It was great to see so many people supporting this cause and also to enjoy a great day out " said one lady whose son suffered from Diabetes..

CROOKS INTERNATIONAL gave a brief performance at the park and then supported upcoming local artist TUI in her debut performance. TUI Stunned onlookers with her stage performance - with the help of her DANCE TROOP - URBAN BEAT they ripped the stage up and gave the audience a fantastic HIP HOP dance set...watch out for TUI in the future as her single and video hit the airwaves...

Just would like to thank all my brutha's its been amazing being part of this family of talented singers. In terms of thanks I should be the one thanking you brutha's for helping me show 112 just how we do it here in Aotearoa, I went to help co-ordinate a press conference the day after the concert and was talking to Mike, the thing they will remember the most from the whole trip here is the Powhiri and hooking up with us (ohh I managed to slip our demo to them as well ha ha ha).
I will be heading to Perth to hook up with one of our C.I brutha's there so give me a message to send to him because he only stays up the road from me.
As the newest member of the family I want to let others know that Crooks International are here to stay and longevity is the word. I would also like to announce there is a new crew coming out of the states called 'New Jack City' this group as I have been told is made up of former members from Bel Biv Devoe, Blackstreet, New Edition and Guy a feast of strong R&B whakapapa that will be a some stage hitting our shores.

Saturday night was a huge night for CROOKS INTERNATIONAL !!

With their very first live performance at the V BAR - AUCKLANDS number 1 R N B / HIPHOP joint !!

With a big crowd the CROOKS stunned on lookers with there live set - " I didnt even know that you were singing live - you guys are really fantastic !! " said one lady - " When are you coming back, auckland needs a REAL R N B / HIPHOP CREW like you " said another...

With the help of DJ MEEKZ who also ripped up the dancefloor with his outstanding LIVE show - the mixure of live RNB/HIPHOP and DJ had the crowd responding and vibing - this club has added a new LIVE ELEMENT TO THEIR already outstanding showcase of LIVE DJS / ACTS !!

The CROOKS performed at HABOURMASTERS - Bar and grill located on the shores of beautiful WAIHEKE ISLAND 20mins from Auckland City.

The crowd was more then receptive to the CROOKS music...dancing and singing along to the sounds of CROOKS INTERNATIONAL

The boys were happy with the responce they recieved as it was their first time in WAIHEKE - " we look forward to coming back to Harbourmasters - these people know how to have a good time "

It was a late night for the boys finishing up at 12am - and catching the last available ferry out of WAIHEKE at 12.30am

CROOKS INTERNATIONAL live at the NZ D1 DRIFT CHAMPS at PUKEKOHE

Thanks to D1 and AA MOTORS, CROOKS INTERNATIONAL performed live to a huge turnout at Pukekohe raceway on Saturday...

The group performed in the middle of the racing circuit and found out first hand just how FAST AND FURIOUS the DRIFT COMPS CAN GET !!

Performing all new NZ music produced by the group themselves, on lookers were raising there hands high in the sky for C.I. FAMILY !!
