Bio

The Body Corporate has been around in various forms now for about two years. As of late they seem to have stumbled onto a solid lineup of Steve & Mark (vocals, guitar and keys), Aaron (bass) and Stu (drums). The Body Corporate consider themselves a loud pop band and draw influences from disparate sources such as Sonic Youth, Wilco, Radiohead, Tomahawk as well as home-grown bands The 3Ds, Straitjacket Fits, HDU, The Bats and a whole lot more. Considering themselves a contradiction - really loud noisy abrasive stuff mixed up with chamber/power pop, all of which they deem a good thing. The Body Corporate released a self titled EP in 2005 and have recently released a single 'Glasshouses' that is rapidly picking up play along the BFM network.
