Bio

The Quick and the Dead formed in late 2005 in Auckland, New Zealand when Will Saunders (guitar, vox) returned from eight years in London, and met Alistair Walling (bass) and Ben Lockwood (drums).

In late April 2006 the band released an EP of five songs called Destroy the Obstacle.

They played many gigs in from 2006 - 2010 around NZ as well as live TV, radioplay and live sessions, also releasing their debut video for Side One Song One.

The final EP Heartbreak 365 was recorded with Bob Frisbee and released in 2008

In 2016 the recordings were made available for free download along with unheard songs, covers, live takes and videos.
