Hollie Smith was @ Leigh Sawmill Friday 3 November.

It was a night to remember, The ‘Bones’ Tour – Solo & Intimate, was all that implies, at times raw but always genuine. Other words that spring to mind include, brave, exciting, cathartic, emotional, challenging, to name a few.

The night was a presentation of unreleased songs and in some cases unfinished, with Hollie laying bare subjects ranging from break ups, loss, politics, midlife crisis, love, death - introducing each song and its background - a window on Hollie, her perspective on life and her journey. 

One of the lines from late in the set “you left me barren and drank my wine” - but Hollie is OK!

How can you not love Hollie Smith!
