Wellington band Sidecar Fury formed in January 2004, originally under the Kill Bill-inspired moniker of The Crazy 88s. This name only lasted a matter of months before the Sidecar Fury nomenclature was adopted and has remained in place ever since.
The band have played shows with some of the top acts in the country, such as Sommerset, The Bleeders, Kitsch and Cold By Winter, as well as support slots with US acts Strung Out and No Use For A Name. On top of this, they have released their debut EP 'Loud & Sober' (available at shows for a mere $3) and have seen their video for 'Simple Note' receive airplay on C4 and Juice TV.
