Hailing from Hamilton, Arms Reach, have spent the year up and down the country winning fans with their power-pop / alternative sound. Now, following the release of their debut EP 'Songs About Goodbyes', Arms Reach are planning on bringing the rock to you this summer and letting it catch you ear. When exactly? “It’s all very hush-hush at the moment” says guitarist/frontman Alex Price. But the band, rounded out by guitarist Sam Hunt, Bassist Peter Allely and drummer Marty Kroon maintain that they’ve got some good times in store for their fans yet. “We play power-pop, and like to have a lot of fun. I think, hopefully, we’re writing songs that people can enjoy and relate to”.
Drawing influences from contemporaries like Taking Back Sunday and The Starting Line, Arms Reach’s diary style lyrics and infectious, honest, catchy pop-rock has already earned them a dedicated fan base, and their grip on the country only seems to be tightening. “Things just keep getting better” says Marty, “We are working pretty hard but the amount of fun we’re having far outweighs that”.
Arms Reach has now disbanded.
