Relinquish are a hard rock band from Christchurch, New Zealand.

They are a 4 piece band consisting of Hamish Rae on Guitar, Chris Keen on Bass and vocals, Nina Sullivan on Bass and vocals and Matt Willoughby on Drums.

The bands style of music is influenced by some heavy metal music, softer rock and also some acoustic numbers as well. An overall a good blend of rhythmical riffs, melodic tunes and a good dousing of distortion with a touch of well balanced vocals to finish it off. The band was established formally in July 2006, however Chris Keen and Matt Willoughby had been jamming previously.

Hamish Rae joined the band in July 2006, and recently; April 2007, Nina Sullivan joined the band; with both Hamish and Nina adding good balance and diversity, as well as musical knowledge to the band Relinquish hopes to play their first gig, late in June 2007, keep tuned into this page to find out more about Relinquish.
