Hi there music.net peeps -
For the last four years have been playing with the amazing world fusion dance band Ionosphere. Note below on our next gig (with Dub Text) in Auckland on 24 March 2017. See you there.

Electro World Fusion - Ionosphere and Dubtext
Friday 24 March, at the Dogs Bollix bar, 2 Newton Rd, Auckland, at 8pm.
$10.

Fusing electronic music with real world ethnic instruments, featuring 2 bands to treat your ears & move your body - Ionosphere & Dub Text.
Ionosphere is a 3-piece Auckland ensemble fusing ethnic instruments with psychedelic trance & ambient chill beats.
Dub Text are well loved for improvising with old-school analogue synthesisers & drum machines to create electro pop grooves.

John Goudge Band album recording pregress
Posted: Tue Feb 19, 2008 12:31 pm
John Goudge & band have just popped up for air after spending most of the last two months in the recording studio working on 'the album.'

At Beaver Studios in Auckland City producer Simon Holloway has been working with me to create that amazing masterpiece I have been dreaming of. Here's hoping it will meet all my (& your) expectations & more. I think it will.

The bulk of recording is done, so now the studio slips into an editing & mixing phase that will take several months.

I can tell you that the album will probably have 11 tracks, & should be good to dance to, aswell as relax to.

Any music industry professionals who wish to support the album in anyway should contact me.

Love & regards to you all.

Thanks for supporting us.

JG.
