If you didn't see the new Fomayed video on tv this morning, then try catch it 2moro morning on Coke Countdown at 10am. The new video clip "Exhale" can be voted for on Kiwi Fms top 100. At the moment they stand 23rd on the charts.

Go to www.kiwifm.co.nz and click on the 'Vote Now' tab.

Type in Foamyed - Exhale at the bottom of the page, then submit!!!!

"Hi All,

We have received a video grant – YAY! for our new upcoming single ‘Exhale’.

We are shooting it on Sunday the 20th February and were wondering whether there are any girls who would be interested and available to be extras in it (it will have girls only featured in the video).

If you or any girls you know would be available please email us back asap. We would really appreciate it! We will provide snacks, beer and wine and would only need you for a couple of hours from noon.

We will email you further details if you can make it.

South Island Tour

I got the chance to see three Foamy Ed gigs on consecutive nights recently. Whilst listening to pretty much the same set night after night can be a tad boring, in this case that's about as far from the truth as you can go. Whether it was intentional or not, their were subtle changes in riff's each night which kept the crowd interested. Lani and Meike have awesome stage presence together and compliment the artistry of Kat and the power of Fleur's voice. Whilst the bands that supported them (except for 4 Man Bob) were, at best ordinary, FE stole the show each night with their energy and awesome stage presence. Why the hell won't anyone pick them up for their label ?
Their are a hell of a lot of bands out their with less talent who have a label.

Foamy Ed Video Debut

Foamy Ed's NEW video debuts on Space this Friday 30 May - TV2 @ 10:30pm!

Winners of the first round of Launchpad, Foamy Ed shot their debut music video last weekend. You may remember that the girls were voted by the public as winners of the Coke/Space music scheme in March.

The weather held and the video was shot in an industrial estate in inner city Auckland. All went as planned with the exception of Jack, the ring in cat belonging to Jo Tuapawa of Space fame, scratching a band member and then legging it when he was most needed.

The video was directed by Mitchell Hawkes, director of the Garageland videos 'Gone' and 'Life Is So Sweet', the Stephen Malkmus video 'Death To The Maiden' and music TV specials such as the Flying Nun story and the BNet Awards. It was produced by Hayley Cunningham who has also worked on videos by Garageland, The Video Kid, Ramekin and Sommerset.

The video for 'Overload' will debut on Space this Friday night. Don't miss it.

Round Two winners of Launchpad are Bolbox Rex and round three is currently open.

Space will be debuting Foamy Ed's brand spanking new video for the track 'Overload' on 30 May and promotion has gone really well for the band this month, with them popping on radio stations for live-to-airs and interviews all over the place. They've even managed to get on the next NZ On Air Indie Hit Disc.

Auckland four-piece Foamy Ed have released their long-awaited new EP, the band's first release since 2000's 'Go Where U Know'.

The new EP is entitled, 'A Moment's Need' and is available now on http://www.foamyed.com/ or through Real Groovy Auckland (or online at http://www.realgroovy.co.nz/).

In other Foamy news, guitarist Aimee Banks is amicably leaving the band in the New Year, and the group are currently auditioning guitar players.
