Andy Lovegrove is the soulful, smoky voice behind the solar-tinged sounds of Breaks Co-Op, whose major hit 'The Otherside' epitomised the sound of summer across the radio waves (becoming the most played song on NZ radio in 2005 & Single Of The Year at the 2005 NZ Music Awards).

In a break away from the typical Breaks sound, Lovegrove's solo debut is more personal and very much a love album, albeit bittersweet. The trademark vocals ripple over an elegant, often melancholic array of instrumentation.

Andy has produced and collaborated with UK classics Badly Drawn Boy, Supergrass and Shirley Bassey. But he's decided it's just right he gets back to what he loves - writing and performing. The album features guest vocals from Goldenhorse's Kirsten Morrel and legend Dave Dobbyn.

'Just A Man', his solo album, is due in stores in New Zealand on 7 July 2008.
