New Zealand's Nanotek is the foremost name in dark Drum n Bass in the country. His distinctive, brooding, malignant style has earned him the recognition of the local and international Drum n Bass communities in a short space of time.

In 2007, Germany's Intransigent Recordings picked up Nanotek's Nightwatch and it wasn't long before he gained the recognition of Dylan & Freak Recordings with his first release for the crew, on sister label Obscene Recordings. Deadly Force and Acid Burn marked the beginning of Nanotek's foray into international Drum n Bass success and was emphatically supported by heavyweights such as Tech Itch, Current Value, SPL, Gein, Counterstrike & Limewax.
