Mightyscoop

Bio

Originally formed in Newquay, England, Mightyscoop burst onto the New Zealand music scene early 2002 with the infectious summer single 'Sunny Daze' and began what was simply a fast paced year, with 3 singles released and a North Island tour among other highlights.

October 2002 saw the departure of Mark Bennett and the addition of new Drummer Alex Peters.

"Ones to watch. They know what the world wants. Surf, sun, food and quirky pop-rock."
Rip It Up, New Zealand, Feb/March 2002

"Pop/Rock perfection…… buy this single you won't regret it!!!"
www.varsity.co.nz, March 2002

"The Band is yet unsigned but if 'Stay Awake' repeats the success of 'Sunny Daze' then Mightyscoop deserve a record deal!"
NZ Truth, June 2002

Band Members:
Sebastian Andersen (guitar, vocals)
Dave Bradley (bass, vocals)
Sam Frankland (keyboards)
Alex Peters (drums)
