Splitter has undergone somewhat of a transformation with the departure from the band of their good friend Joel Tobeck. The band still love Joel, he's just been so busy with acting commitments over the last year that they have decided to bring in Brett Adams on full time guitar duties.

Brett has recently returned from 12 years living in London where his musical activities have included tours of Europe in support to Radiohead.

The new Splitter line-up play Auckland's mighty Kings Arms Tavern on 17 July with support from The Bads (Dianne Swann and Brett) and the first New Zealand outing for Andrew Fagan's new band Lig.

There'll be no arsing about with late nights; first band on at 9pm, all done by Midnight.
