Spiral has a groove. The groove is alive; it has soul, it has emotion, it can get hot and sweaty and it does not fear to get a little dirty.

Where soul meets samba, rock and jazz meet reggae, and horns rub shoulders with lush keys and broken strings, these are the places where Spiral unites.
You'll be treated to soaring vocals, raging solos, a horn section that packs a phat punch, and an unforgettable performance from a collective of some of New Zealand's finest musicians. With all of the spontaneity, freedom and musical interplay that you'd expect to hear in Cuba or New Orleans, but with a unique Kiwi twist. And one thing's for sure; you'll be on your feet the whole time.

Hailing from Auckland, on New Zealand's picturesque West coast, Spiral is a collective of some of New Zealand's most in demand musicians, who regularly play festivals and concerts internationally and throughout NZ, with artists such as Batucada Sound Machine, dDub, Hayley Westenra and the Rodger Fox Big Band and at festivals such as The Monterey Jazz Festival, Montreux and other festivals throughout western Europe, and the Pacific island Jazz and Blues series
