Cool Cult are an Auckland band, expressing a fresh blend of post-punk and shoegaze. Music addicts who did not automatically become fans following the release of their first album in 2011 should definitely prepare to be converted.

With their new independently released, self-titled EP and six extremely mind, body and soul grabbing tracks, Cool Cult are redefining their position in the New Zealand music scene prior to undertaking a six city North Island tour.

Cool Cult's original members, Lliam Powell and Maté Vella along with new drummer Alexander Grant, have clearly focused on developing their music style and output following their lineup change late in 2011.
