Formed by Rock Hardman & Brother Love with Drummer Ken E Bear in 1994 in Christchurch, Ape Management have toured and played extensively. They relocated to the wilderness of Wellington in 1997.

Ape Management also once featured David Clark on guitar, who is now a solo performer under the name Dragstrip.

The Management have a feast of overdriven guitar raunch, and devil burp vocal sylings in their portfolio of jungle mad tunes. Defunct, but still known to pull out the black duds for the occasional debauched night of rock'n'roll.
