Chris Priestley

Bio

Musician and entrepreneur Chris Priestley has been involved in the Auckland folk music scene for over 30 years. In addition to his work as a musician and songwriter, he was one of the founders of Real Groovy Records and established iconic Auckland venues Java Jive and the Atomic Cafe.

His latest release, Unsung Heroes, a collection of new songs written about some of New Zealand’s most colourful historical characters.
