Known as The Beat Mafia, Auckland DJs Phillip Haeder and Reuben Rivers-Smith have been making waves in the Auckland clubbing community for almost a decade now. Club DJs, George FM radio hosts, music producers and event promoters, these two are certainly passionate about what they do. With the aim to blend all aspects of club music for the clubbers of today, these two energetic djs are equally at home playing intimate club venues, festivals and big room events. Having made a name for themselves hosting club parties and touring cutting edge electronic acts in to New Zealand, the progression from party hosts to DJ / Producers came naturally.

Lately The Beat Mafia have focussed their attention on the production studio remixing popular bands such as, Milky Chance, Banglade$h and The Royal Concept with their productions becoming mainstays on Auckland’s favourite electronic radio station, George FM. Their latest single with Diaz Grimm ‘Motivation’ peaked at #1 on the NZ Electronic charts on iTunes this year. The Beat Mafia have been very busy in the studio since then and rest assured, there is much more to come in the near future so make sure you keep your ears open!
