In late 2015 discussions started happening about the creation of a new band when Jason and Tim were performing together in a hard rock covers band. Over a few drinks at a party it was felt that it was time for something different, a fresh new creative project they could really sink their teeth into. The lads took that discussion pretty seriously and quickly came up with a couple of track ideas.

Those of you that know Tim will already be familiar with how prolific he is in making music and coming up with ideas (who can forget his foray into 80’s electronica with his homemade Dr. Robotnik and the Segamasters?) and as for Jas, well he’s always up for anything! So, there it was, the seed was planted and the real work needed to begin - but who with? Let’s start with the bass…

With his years of DJ experience and an abundance of musical knowledge, the boys were quick to recruit Simon to the band and work started almost immediately in collaborating to write and mould a good selection of songs. Ideas were flowing and it was not long before the band was ready to record some initial demos to use in their search for their drummer.

Enter Alex Marsh, a talented multi-instrumentalist invited to Kessel HQ to hear the demos. Alex is best known for his epic guitar knowledge and was impressed enough with what he heard to offer his services as a drummer - a bit of a trip for a couple of the guys who had no idea he could even drum!

A little later the band added Aaron Gash as a second guitarist. A great musician and a real singing talent as well, Aaron rounds out a line up that has been together for many years.
