Ivy Red

Bio

Ivy Red is an alternative R&B songwriter producer and performer. By opening up the darkest parts of his mind he lets you into Ivy’s world, guiding you with a melancholic, gravelly vocal. He describes his sound as crystal grunge R&B.

Ivy Red has been paving the way for a new era of R&B and Hip-Hop coming out of NZ. His music often makes the listener feel as though they’re being talked directly to, never shying away from his deep emotions to capture the raw purity of them and make the listener really feel them.

Ivy Red’s music comes with a purpose to share, enlighten and fulfill troubled people, to remind people when they’re struggling that they’re not alone. This way of writing makes him shine in his performances, always leaving the audience in a deep trance of passion and emotion.

His music is influenced by a diverse mix of artists such as Amy Winehouse, 6lack, Post Malone, Lil Peep and Corbin. Ivy spent 2017 performing shows (under previous alias FKA Lunar) around the country alongside artists like Villette, LMC, Lukas, N Eo & Jinzo and plenty more. This is only the beginning for Ivy Red, feel the wave coming soon.
