“Sandy Mill is a goddess: an amazing vocalist and brilliant percussionist whose timing and ear for the space in a song is so in synch with Donnelly's that it never conflicts with the tone or overly complicates things”. Undertheradar- SJD album release gig at Moon- Wellington 2015.
“This is so awesome, you don't know whether to cry or smile. Absolutely awesome in every which way, this is goose bumps heaven. Congratulations to Lofty, Sandy Mill and anyone else involved in what's quite simply one of the finest black music records ever conceived in the UK. Genius. And probably the best record to be released in 2004.” Manifesto Magazine Feb 2004.
