RE: TLBT are no more. Posted: Wed Dec 17, 2003 12:19 pm Here's the story from Infidelity. www.Infidelity.com.au TLBT run off the road... Shocked fans listened to the announcement ...personal differences...persistent rumours... gone their seperate ways...taking a break... sexiest man alive...cracks in the relationship ...breaking up is hard to do...do not try to break up fights on your own...love does not hurt...become separated into pieces or fragments...love should make you feel happy, secure and appreciated...separate into parts or portions...break, break up, carve, carve up, come apart, dissever, divide, fall apart, part, separate, split, split up, stock split...tantrums were thrown around the world. Take your pick, but in what amounts to "dramatic circumstance" Two Lane Black Top have called it a day and will NOT be supporting thee worlds greatest power trio (MODEY LEMON) on their upcoming Australian tour...shame that! |

TLBT Head To America Posted: Thu Mar 13, 2003 5:38 pm Wellington retro-rockers TLBT are planning to take Air New Zealand's advice, and will be jumping on a plane to head over to the USA in early May. Whether or not they'll be scaling buildings in the vicinity of Capitol Records is yet to be established. They'll be spending about 3 weeks in LA and NY, and, depending on finances, may also be jumping another ocean for gigs in the UK. Look out for their 7" vinyl coming out soon on Infidelity Records, which will hopefully be available at all good record stores, and direct from the band at gigs. Shade muzic.net.nz |

Help Send Two Lane To Oz! Posted: Fri Nov 22, 2002 5:10 pm Two Lane are taking their music to Melbourne next month to play 6 gigs around the city with HDU, Cassette & others. They need some money to help them on their way, so this Sunday they're having a bit of a fundraiser to help them raise money for the tour. Come on down to Bar Bodega, Wellington this Sunday night to catch Two Lane Black Top and The Shining Path for only $5. Shade muzic.net.nz |
