Runnin' Amok was formed in 2002 and has since been busy building up an original set while playing shows in the Auckland and Northland area.

Recently they have just finished recording their self-titled demo containing three original compositions 'Forget Everyone', 'Nostalgia' and 'Speaking Out'.

Runnin' Amok can best be described as power pop/indie rock, citing such influences as Dashboard Confessional, Everclear, Oasis and Coldplay.
