Lets shift back the clock a couple months. Arlin and Mark jammed the their last years of high school. Arlin brought the bass player (Random), from his other band Muffaloose around one day for a jam and they decided to make a band.

They have had a real problem with bass players. First it was Random but he left to concentrate on his first band Muffaloose. So Mark and Arlin began on a series of bass players that all pretty much sucked. Finally Mark pursuaded Random to come back to playing for the Vermins. Then the band decided that they needed another guitar to fill the sound. They only had to look as far as Waitomo where they found Cave Dave the hostel boy. He only practiced with them twice then he was sucked into playing a show with them. He rocked so they decided to let him stay.
